The tearooms at Oldway which are run by volunteers, has a large free car park, with level access to the gardens. The tearooms have good ramped access and a brand new fully accessible bathroom. There are some tables on the level. If you are alone and cannot get to the counter, ask fir help the volunteers will serve you. Light lunches with lots of GF Dairy Free and Vegan choices. Amazing local made cakes, cream teas and ice cream

    Fabulous gardens with good access

Oldway Mansion was built for Issac Singer, founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. There is free admission to the gardens, which are beautifully laid out in an Italian style. There are steps and terraces but there are step free routes, although this is not signposted. The house is closed to the public. It's very ornate. It was remodelled by Paris, Issac's son, in the style of the Palace of Versailles. Sadly it is on the Victorian Society's 2018 Top 10 Endangered Buildings List.
