Disabled Access In and Around

My companion phoned to ask if the restaurant had level access and a loo on entry level. To be honest I'm a bit sick of hearing "Just a small step - you'll be fine". HOW DO YOU KNOW?! But it was 8.30 and we were starving so we went for it. The step at the front door is a couple of inches high. Good luck. A (very smiley) member of staff held open the internal door for us as me and my scooter were manhandled up the 'fine' step.

Accessible Toilets

Poor

There's no 'accessible' loo. The ladies is indeed on entry level, and has two curiously shaped cubicles therein. Neither was big enough for me to get into on my scooter and shut the door, so I asked them to close the main door to the ladies instead. There wasn't anything to hold on to inside the cubicle.

Staff

Good

All very smiley and welcoming. Waitress was nice but dim.
