About

Poole's Cavern & Buxton Country Park is one of Derbyshire's most popular visitor attractions, offering a unique mix of natural beauty, history and outdoor adventure.

Explore the spectacular limestone caverns on either a guided tour with one of our knowledgeable guides or at your own pace using our self-guided audio tour app. Above ground, enjoy our welcoming café, browse for souvenirs and local gifts in the gift shop, or discover woodland trails through Buxton Country Park up to Solomon's Temple viewpoint.

Whether you're visiting for the caves, a woodland walk, or simply a coffee and cake, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Pre-booking advised. Open 7 days a week, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Please phone 01298 26978 for any enquiries. We run SEN guided Sensory Tours of Poole's Cavern upon request.
