Poole's Cavern & Country Park is proudly owned & managed by Buxton Civic Association, a non-profit organisation. Our Visitor Centre with gift shop, toilets, cafe and exhibition is a hub for our guided tours of our natural limestone showcave as well as our woodland trails in Grinlow Woods. We are dog friendly. Our Café serves local coffee and homemade soups & cakes. Our Gift Shop stocks local artisans and gems. Guided tours of our 2 million year old natural limestone cave run regularly. Pre-booking advises. Open 7 days a week, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Please phone 01298 26978 for any enquiries. We run SEN guided Sensory Tours of Poole's Cavern on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30am, accompanied by a quiet hour until 10:30am.
