Overview

Parliament Square Gardens are an open easy to access area adjacent to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. The surfaces are level and provide for easy wheelchair access.

It's easy to get to the Gardens from Westminster Tube station and is close to other tourist attractions. It has level, smooth, pathways and is easy to get around to see the various statues. You get a great view of the Houses of Parliament from here.

The Gardens play host to several statues including Nelson Mandela, David Lloyd George, Viscount Palmerston, Field Marshal Jan Christian Smuts, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Robert Peel, Edward Stanley, and Benjamin Disraeli.
