About

The Other Palace is a newly built complex with a theatre, studio, bar & brasserie and an award winning restaurant. Our main house theatre shows a diversity of plays and musicals where every seat has a brilliant view of the stage. Our studio is an intimate setting housing comedy, jazz, revues and everything in between. You can relax from 10:00 - 23:00 in our Bar and Brasserie or enjoy one of our meals in our top rated Carrara restaurant. Each area is fully accessible and available to all.

The Other Palace

✅ Scooter fit, clean, Radar key system is effective, as there's a colour coded sign outside that switches between Vacant/Occupied, so people don't walk in on others. Not sure if automatic signage, but smart! I have a key, but noticed how swift staff were to give access. This has been consistent across multiple visits. ❓Radar key needed ❌ Cord wasn't touching the floor, but would otherwise be excellent

Entrance - Fully ramped with handles Lift - Accessible to all patrons to access restaurant on first floor and studio on level -2 We have a loop hearing aid system in our main auditorium for the hard or hearing.

Toilets features at The Other Palace

There are accessible toilets on all levels - each with a wide door and easy access lock and sink. There are changing facilities and grab rails in all accessible toilets

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
