About

Located in the picturesque seaside town of Dún Laoghaire, Pavilion Theatre was built in 2000 as a municipal theatre for the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area. It has since grown and established itself as a cultural hive of activity and entertainment for thousands of visitors each year. With a maximum capacity of 324 seats, Pavilion Theatre’s exciting and diverse programme of events entertains audiences from all over Ireland and the world.

Disabled Access at Pavilion Theatre

All of our venue's Accessibility Information can be found at https://www.paviliontheatre.ie/visit/accessibility There is ramp access to the theatre located on Marine Road. There is a virtual tour of our building available at the following link: https://www.paviliontheatre.ie/visit/virtual-tour The main doors of the theatre are automatic doors. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer on the Box Office side. There is a Loop System in place at Box Office and an Assistive Listening System available in the auditorium. Guide/assistance dogs are welcome at Pavilion Theatre. Large Print Brochures are available at the Box Office or a PDF can be emailed from boxoffice@paviliontheatre.ie There is Alternative Text added to the images on our website in order to aid screen readers. There is new accessible lift system to bring visitors from the Box Office to our upstairs seating. The venue offers Early Entry to the auditorium for visitors who'd like access without the rush of the crowd around them. There are Courtesy Seating areas in the foyer for those less able to stand.
