Peace Gardens

The design of the Peace Gardens had walls around the outside of it meaning I turned a corner and was blown away by the stunning landscaping and water features. Around the outside of the area were some large water features. These had steps which had gradient blue steps coming down to a small tiled canal. Large metal sculptures poured water down these steps which flowed down the small canals towards the centre of the garden. There are a few of these around the outside of the garden and then in the centre was a water display with water jets coming out of the floor. Between all the pathways are beautiful green, grass areas and around the edge, between the water features, are areas of beautiful greenery with a whole array of different types of trees and plants. There were lots of benches throughout the area and the whole space felt incredibly peaceful as the sound of the water provided a lovely backdrop to the scenery.
