Overview

When we visit Llandudno as I love this restaurant and more of their curry sauce, staff are always smiling and keen to help me as I use a mobility scooter. We had visited them again that week but oh my I was left shocked... "A manager as soon as I enter told me I wasn't allowed in unless I left me scooter outside" to begin h with sat not knowing what I had done wrong. I did say" want me to leave my oxygen here aswell". She repeated again I couldn't enter with my scooter. I explained in this day and age you can't treat people in that way. I along with my partner left and suffice to say I got very upset. A little time after my partner returned to the cafe and approached the manager and asked for an explanation. She replied " some time ago someone in a mobile scooted hit our conter and caused alot damage and costing alot in repairs, so now the owners say nobody can enter in a scooter" he was shocked and said" what a pathetic excuse that was". I felt as if I'm never wanting out again. I've never felt such mixed emotions and do what I am now and writting this report but I think we need to say the positive and negative reports for each other. Hopefully this sounds OK. Dawn McDonald
