Really lovely and well meaning staff, unfortunately the restaurant is managed in a way that is inaccessibile for wheelchair users. The chairs and tables are cramped together, and guest have to leave their seats and tuck them in for you to get to the accessible loo on the ground floor. The accessible loo is up to spec on paper, but they've put a nappy bin inside which interrupts the turning space, and means the clearance isn't reached. The table layout has been the same for years, and it's unlikely that they would change it for one disabled customer, as you would have to take one or two tables out, and that would affect the capacity of this already busy restaurant. The staff definitely went out of their way to try and accommodate me as best they could, can't fault them, they were lovely and respectful.
