Excellent
I took my disabled mum along with my sister, brother in law and her two year old son. The exhibits were all at a height that my mum could see into from the chair, a few areas were narrow but plenty of room for wheelchair to pass easily. The nature trail was also accessible which was a nice bonus as it meant we could stay longer. My mum thoroughly enjoyed the visit especially the butterfly park room where they fly around freely. I was a bit worried about maybe accidentally running one over but they were more interested in the fruit placed throughout the enclosure.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Inside the building all paths are flat concrete with some gradients but nothing unmanageable. Outside the paths are reasonable quality gravel and dirt, was able to get around the whole site.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
There is a seperate large Disabled Parking area available right next to the main building
Accessible Toilets
Good
We didn't use the toilet but it was clearly marked and signposted to the accessible one.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were friendly and helpful, maps are provided on entry.
