Venue Description

Poole's Cavern & Country Park is proudly owned & managed by Buxton Civic Association, a non-profit organisation. Our Visitor Centre with gift shop, toilets, cafe and exhibition is a hub for our guided tours of our natural limestone showcave as well as our woodland trails in Grinlow Woods. We are dog friendly. Our Café serves local coffee and homemade soups & cakes. Our Gift Shop stocks local artisans and gems. Guided tours of our 2 million year old natural limestone cave run regularly. Pre-booking advises. Open 7 days a week, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Please phone 01298 26978 for any enquiries.

Although we ask for you not to touch the wall of our cave as they are precious, our exhibition had examples of stalactites that can be touched.
