Overview

Sandy beach with rock pools. Benches to sit and stare out to sea... Small beach so it's perfect just to chill out for half an hour!

Transport & Parking

We drove and as it was not very busy parked right at the beach. There is a blue badge space right at the end of the beach.

Access

There is a good 'promenade' running the length of the beach - step free and with plenty of places to stop & take in the view. It is a sandy beach with ramped access. There are plenty of rocks and rock pools to keep 'explorers and adventurers' happy! Popular with dog walkers too.

Toilets

There is a toilet block discreetly hidden at end of beach. Step free access. There is an accessible loo within the ladies loo. It does look a bit aged and as if it has seen better days but was serviceable and great to have it there.

Staff

Didn't see anyone.

Some of our group headed over to Kippford via the National Trust path. Great walk which took about an hour or so but consensus was definitely not wheelchair accessible.
