Getting Here

Arriving by Bus Local buses that stop near the theatre include numbers 1, 10, 11, 15, 15A, 16, 24, 34, 47 all stopping on Lothian Road outside the Usher Hall (or outside the Filmhouse Cinema going the other direction), and number 2 stopping on Bread Street (eastbound only) just after the junction with Lothian Road. Numbers 22 and 30 also stop nearby on the Western Approach Road, at the junction with Lothian Road. For more info on local buses, including maps and timetables, please visit Lothian Buses.  Arriving by Taxi Taxis can drop passengers off, (and pick them up) on Grindlay Street, immediately outside The Lyceum foyer. If you would like a member of our Front of House staff to arrange a taxi for you they will be glad to assist. There is also a taxi rank a short distance away on Lothian Road, outside the Sheraton Hotel.  Arriving by Train The Lyceum is approximately 20 minutes walk from both Haymarket and Waverley train station. For train times and information, please visit Scotrail. To walk from Haymarket Station: Exit the station and turn right. Walk up Morrison Street for approximately 10 minutes, and then turn left down Lothian Road. Turn right onto Grindlay Street, passing the Usher Hall on your left - the Lyceum will be immediately ahead of you. To walk from Waverley Station: Exit the station onto Princes Street, and turn left proceeding along Princes Street for approximately 10 minutes. When you reach St John's Church, turn left  on to Lothian Road. Walk up Lothian Road for approximately 5 minutes, then turn left onto Grindlay Street, passing the Usher Hall on your left - the Lyceum will be immediately ahead of you. Arriving by Bike Two bike parking points near The Lyceum; one just off Lothian Road, next to Usher Hall and Nando's, and another directly outside The Lyceum's Box Office on the corner of Grindlay Street and Cornwall Street. Neither are owned or run by the Lyceum, but both provide space for bikes to be securely chained up.

Parking

A few spaces opposite theatre, owned by Edinburgh City Council. These are unable to be booked.
