The Schoolhouse is a spacious self-catering cottage, sleeping 6 in 4 bedrooms. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible with a single bedroom, electrical profiling bed, ceiling hoist coverage to a large wet room and an adjustable height changing/shower bench and a Rifton HTS large shower chair. The front living room has south facing views to open countryside and Kyloe Woods, The rear garden has a lower and higher patio spaces with ramped access enabling everyone to get to see the setting sun. Changing Places toilets are now available at Holy Island, Berwick, Seahouses, Alnwick and Alnwick Gardens. Beach Access North East offer free beach wheelchair hire from Bamburgh, Beadnell and Spittal beach.

Fabulous stay 5*

Stayed here a couple of times now , it is absolutely amazing. Profile bed, hoist , wet room , blender the list goes on . The house itself is stunning and the attention to detail with equipment ect is outstanding!

Accessible toilet is within the wet room and has fixed and fold down grab rails. The wash basin has grabrails either side. There is 'H' track ceiling hoist coverage and an adjustable height changing/shower bench. The ceiling hoist provides direct access to the ground floor bedroom.
