Excellent
Excellent main tarmac path and accessible offshoots to two hides provide superb views of estuary wildlife or just a good walk/scoot close to the seaside resort. Seaton front also has a great promenade. Slightly off message, this whole Jurassic Coast area has excellent accessible promenades – Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth to name just a few.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Good paths, especially the main 1 mile path which is all tarmac. The two main hides have ramped access.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
Longish hike/scoot from Seaton (half a mile) or there is a good car park (look out for symbol of bird as it is tucked behind the cemetery!). If you can access Seaton tram (not suitable for wheelchairs) you can take a trip to Colyford and visit reserve before making the return journey.
Accessible Toilets
0There are no toilets at the reserve.
Staff
0Currently not staffed, possibly because of Covid, but there is an information hut.
