Walk on the wild side

Excellent main tarmac path and accessible offshoots to two hides provide superb views of estuary wildlife or just a good walk/scoot close to the seaside resort. Seaton front also has a great promenade. Slightly off message, this whole Jurassic Coast area has excellent accessible promenades – Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth to name just a few.

Disabled Access Information Provided by Seaton Wetlands

Disabled Access at Seaton Wetlands

The Wild East Devon team who manage Seaton Wetlands are keen to improve access to Seaton Wetlands for all visitors. Seaton Wetlands is working with Heritage Ability, a scheme that makes visitor attractions in the South West more accessible for disabled people and British Sign Language (BSL users). Heritage Ability have provided site staff and volunteers with Disability and Deaf Awareness training, A Visual Story available online to help autistic people and people with PTSD feel more at ease before their visit and British Sign Language (BSL) self-led guided tours for Deaf visitors. Heritage Ability has also provided an off-road mobility scooter (Tramper) available for hire, in conjunction with its sister project Countryside Mobility. Seaton Wetlands is also able to offer guided visits for visually impaired visitors

There are some disabled parking bays in the car park Please note that these parking places are still on a slight incline and the surface is loose gravel

We have a new toilet block with a wheelchair accessible toilet and baby changing facilities
