I happened upon this bookshop on my way to Tweedbank. It caught my eye so much that I decided to turn back to check it out. Located near the scenic Coldingham Priory, they have quite a collection of secondhand books, most of which are in good condition. A handy place to pick up something to read while taking a breather on the Priory grounds. This small shop is attached to The Luckenbooth Coffee Shop, which was closed during my visit.

The doors to the venue are pinned open and a ramp has been installed. The space is little more than a small square room, so there is no signage to note Bookshelves line the walls, with books arranged by genre and author. There’s a table in the centre of the room, which may make it challenging for some to move around.

There are two designated accessible parking spaces in the nearby car park, though I should make clear that these do not have hatched markings and are not much larger than a standard parking space. Parking is free, however.

I noticed accessible toilets at the nearby Luckenbooth Coffee Shop but the shop was closed and the facilities were locked.

I spoke to a lovely lady who volunteered at the shop. She was quick to offer help and to hand me down books as required.
