Beautiful estate with good wheelchair access but hilly

We spent a morning here whilst on holiday. The castle doesn't open until later in March but the gardens, cafe, visitor centre and estate are all open. For National Trust members, everything is free. We did the 1.5km accessible walk, and then looked around the gardens before having lunch in the cafe.

A guided tour of accessible garden areas

Sizergh Castle is a fascinating National Trust Property. The Gardens are amazing. Grange Mobility Scooter Group were given a guided tour tailored to the capabilities of our own scooters. They do have a Tramper which is available at no charge if prebooked. Mobility Scooter users are also welcome on any of the scheduled tours.
