Accessible fun on the pier

Southwold Pier is a fun and accessible place for a day out. There is a wooden ramp leading to the pier. The pier itself includes a variety of restaurants, shops and amusements with step-free access. There is plenty of seating for those who require it.

Disabled Access at Southwold Pier

No steps to entrance or throughout The Pier. No auto doors due to variable weather conditions and most doors are push doors internally. All doors wide enough for large wheelchair access.

Accessible parking at Southwold Pier

Own on street car parking reserved for disabled visitors with dropped curbs to allow access directly to front of Pier.

Dedicated on-site parking

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.

Large disabled access toilet in Boardwalk Restaurant on Pier. Additional Public disabled toilet adjacent to Pier and car park, accessible with Radar Key.
