    Croeso!

St David’s just a wonderful place to visit. As a wheelchair user you will need a friend to help shove you up the steepest pasts, but it is well worth it. An accessible parking space can be pre booked right next to the cathedral (this is essential). The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. There is one of those ‘flying carpet’ style lifts up to the coffee shop. You press a button and a member of staff comes to help with this. This is also well worth it. Have the Welsh cakes and a pot of tea. They are both excellent. There is a large, spotless accessible toilet, complete with grab rails. As a wheelchair user, there are two main levels to the cathedral, and you need to go outside to move between the two. This was explained to me by the lovely staff, who made me feel very welcomed and wanted.
