Stevenage Swimming Centre has 25 metre by 6 lane pool, a small training pool and smaller teaching pool. We have a wellness area with a steam room and sanarium.

Disabled Access at Stevenage Swimming Centre

We are mostly a single level building with the entrance, changing rooms and spa area all on the ground floor with the pool. We have a hoist that can aid bathers into any pool. The Centre is without parking due to construction of the new Stevenage Leisure Centre but parking is available in the council owned car parks (the Forum and St Georges Way multi storey)

Toilets features at Stevenage Swimming Centre

Assessable Toilets are equipped with hand rails, lower basins and hand driers with emergency alarms. Our assessable toilet in our changing village has additional bench space, hooks and a shower.

Changing Places toilet with shower

There is a Changing Places toilet with a shower, which includes an adult-sized changing bench, toilet, sink, hoist and shower.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
