Excellent

The Stirling Court Hotel is within the grounds of Stirling University and is a lovely hotel with good access across the ground floor area which includes Bar area, Restaurant, and various functions rooms. Thd hotel is very popular and it hosted different events over the course of my 3 day stay. One of these included a number of people with various disabilities which resulted in the Blue Badge spaces filling up very q

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

You enter the hotel double automatic door that are extremely wide and people can pass very easily . The Ground floor area is basically fully accessible this includes the accessible rooms in the hotel which are of to the right of the reception desk There is good signage on the various functions areas and the staff at the hotel are happy to assist you There is part of the Bar area where you have Bar meals that is up a number of steps however there is no reason why you should not take meals on the lower section of this area The Bar area has various arm chairs that can be moved out of the way to allow a Wheelchair in to place

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

There are a number of Blue Badge spaces available which can fill up quickly the University is well served by a local bus service which drops you near the hotel main entrance. The bus stop is clearly marked as Bus Hub and there is good sign posting around the University campus to the various areas including the hotel Please note you do need to register your vehicle if you are staying at the hotel

Excellent

There is good size accessible toilet this is of to the left as you face the hotel reception desk. I did however find this toilet to be very warm there is a Red Cord and good grip rails etc
