St. Paul's Church

I was on my way to Perth Bus Station, when I found an unusual ruin in the heart of the city. I wasn't quite sure what I was looking at, so I had a quick look on Google, where I learned this was the remnants of St Paul's Church. The church was built in 1807 by John Paterson, one of the first churches in the city after the Reformation. It closed in 1986 but was restored and reopened in 2021 as an outdoor performance space. At this location you'll find benchest to rest on, and a few considerate accessibility features. On my visit there was an installation with historical photos of Perth.
