**Teatime Café Lanark – Venue Description**

Teatime Café is a small, welcoming independent café located in the heart of Lanark. We are a community-focused café offering breakfast, lunch, home baking, cakes, hot drinks and takeaway options, with a warm and friendly atmosphere for individuals, families, groups and visitors to the town.

We aim to make Teatime Café as inclusive and comfortable as possible for all customers. We offer **Braille, large print and dyslexia-friendly menus**, and our team are happy to talk customers through menu options where helpful. We also cater thoughtfully for a wide range of **allergies, dietary needs and personal preferences**.

The café is small but we will always do our best to adjust seating to make visits easier for wheelchair users, mobility aid users, parents with prams, or anyone who needs a little extra space. We have not yet completed formal doorway or access measurements, but we are actively working to improve and communicate our accessibility information clearly.

We also understand that some customers may feel more comfortable knowing what to expect before they arrive. Photos of the café are available online, and customers are welcome to contact us in advance to ask about quieter times, seating, menu options or any other adjustments that may help make their visit more relaxed.

Our staff are friendly, approachable and happy to adapt where possible to support customers with visual impairments, neurodiversity, mobility needs, communication preferences, or hidden disabilities.
