Thai Sarocha Restaurant

There was a low step to access the restaurant. I am a manual wheelchair user and needed a slight shove from my husband to negotiate the step, but once I was in there was level access to the main part of the restaurant. There was no access to the toilets for a wheelchair user.

I have a Thai wife so i really do enjoy the food, well not too spicy. In my travels i often visit Thai restaurants and while in Salisbury I went to this one on Fisherton Street. There are two Thai restaurants I know of, with a third being a "pub" type restaurant. Lunchtime service was busy but not too busy. Salisbury is a nightmare for parking and streets, having a long history going right back to Roman times, so for me I had to take my scooter and park it outside on the pavement. I must also say the date I visited specified in this review wasn't the day I went, and you can also watch a more indepth vlog of my time. The venue has two parts but they are separated by a step and unfortunately, this is also where the toilet is situated; I also would guess there's no disabled toilet. The food was excellent and for the price, very filling. A lunch time menu of curry and rice was £6.95. Inside the first part, there is space to manoeuvre but on a busy period the turning space would be difficult. However, the staff couldn't do enough for me and spoke excellent English.
