Hit & Miss Experience?
The pub opened earlier this year and we've recently been in a few times, and it's very hit and miss. If you have sensory needs this is a lovely place, the lighting is low and the music (when I have been in) has been very low as well. They have a cat and allow dogs in the pub so that makes it feel more homely. My main problem was that there is no disabled toilet. I went in on crutches and couldn't find the accessible loo and was told there wasn't one "as everything is on the ground floor". With one crutch I really struggled to use the toilet as it was one of those narrow one toilet rooms. They have a ramp on order for wheelchair users but unless you are able to stand to walk a few steps and leave your wheelchair in the hall, I wouldn't bother. Our first visit the bartender was super friendly and put up with my autistic questions about the cat. Our second visit the bartender was very grumpy looking and just didn't seem to want to be there.
In short, would recommend for a quiet drink from time to time but not if you have physical disabilities.
