Overview

This is an accessible go-karting track. There is a cafe to get something to eat as well. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Transport & Parking

I drove to the venue. There is disable parking at the venue.

Access

Everything is on the ground floor. The venue is very accessible. They have a hoist to get me in to the go-kart but you have to take your own sling. The venue provided a driver to drive me around the track. There is also the option to drive the go-kart yourself. It's best to book before you go and if you want to drive the hand controlled go-kart, you have to book a week in advance.

Toilets

There is a spacious disabled toilet. There is enough space for a carer to go in with me.

Staff

All staff are helpful and friendly. They are very chatty. The staff member who drove me round was a good driver. I felt safe in the go-kart but the driver still drove fast enough to make it exciting!

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I recommend the go-karting to other people. I've been 3 times and can't wait to go back again. If I left closer, I would be there more often! You can go along by yourself or as a group. If you go as a group, you might have to go on one at a time. There is only one side by side cart, which I prefer to use as you can see more than the karts where you sit behind the driver.
