Welcoming with a good range of food and the helpings are generous No loud music, wood-burning stove, quirky in a very nice way
Disabled Access In and Around
Average
The front entrance door opens into a very small vestibule. The inner door also opens into the vestibule so it is difficult with a large wheelchair - but possible - the ledges are small. They will rush to help and they keep a door wedge on the mantlepiece.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We drove and parked in one of the 2 disabled bays by the front door, but there is also lots of parking at the rear. There is a bus Stop ID: oxfamwmd right opposite it but it is not the easiest road to cross on foot.
Staff
Excellent
We've been several times and the staff have been universally helpful, as have the other diners
Additional Information
Highly recommended They are relaxed and accommodating around disability, just unfortunate that, as an old building, they are limited in possible adaptations. It is also a good place to go out as a larger group It is a dog-friendly pub - they have their own large but relaxed and friendly dog
