Admission to museum free - see website or phone for opening hours. The Glasgow Police Museum tells the story of the UK's first police force, The City of Glasgow Police (1800 - 1975). Formed 30 years before the Metropolitan Police in London and when Robert Peel was 12 years of age! The museum features uniforms, stories, crime cases and medals for bravery. There is also an International Exhibition displaying uniforms and badges from every country in the World.
