Afternoon tea at The Glasshouse is a real treat. Friendly staff, beautiful location and rich in history. The ambience is special, a beautiful fire, soft lighting and easy jazz setting a relaxing mood to enjoy the experience. As a powerchair user, there are a couple of areas to note. The table for two had cross legs like the letter X so my wife had to put skills to use to allow me to sit close to the table. The accessible toilet is an ok size, you can drive in forwards and backwards but you definitely couldn’t do a doughnut. The rooftop garden is amazing, there is a paved trail all around showing views of Carlton Hill and all the way to the shore.
