Spend some time perusing the well stocked shelves of whisky products and gifts before going to the 1775 restaurant where you can choose from the Seasonal Menu, or if you prefer to opt for a soup and sandwich meal and traybake make your way to the servery area. Mobility scooters are not permitted in the production area due to the battery pack located on the back of the scooter - this appliance runs the risk of causing an explosion, the same way in which any electrical device is not permitted within the production area.
There is limited access to the Production area . The visitor using the wheelchair and one carer will be offered a tour free of charge.( No lifts available in this part of the distillery). The visitor with mobility issues will begin the tour with the rest of the group - the second and third rooms are not accessible - a host (tour guide) will conduct a seperate presentation in the Welcome Lounge with the help of visual aids. Your host will them accompany you to re-join the rest of the group for the remainder of the tour.

During the Summer season approx 20 members of staff within the hosting and retail team are employed. The restaurant have a further team of 20 to fulfill morning to evening custom. During the Winter months approx 15 members of staff within each department are employed.
