    For the whisky lover

The tour is semi - accessible.. the mash tun and tun room are via stairs, so wheelchair users are taken on the third point and given the information before meeting up with the rest of the group. There is a lift to the gift shop but it was out of order when we went and the outside entrance is up the top of a steep hill. The staff were fantastic and moved stuff about. There are 2 disabled car parks near the road entrance, and 2 more down the back of the carpark.

    Aunty's Lunch

Every now and then I get summonsed for an aunty's lunch. I think it's they're way of checking up on me! We try to go some where different each time. Today we thought we'd try the Famous Grouse restaurant. I'd heard good things about the food since it changed hands, and we weren't disappointed. The menu is short, only four choices for each course but what we got was very tasty. I took points off for the excruciatingly slow service, it took almost an hour to get our 1st course - there were only 4 tables in. Also the very steep hill up to the main door was hard work, as was the spring loaded door of the toilet.
