This hotel is a real gem. It caters specifically for those with life threatening conditions and their families. But it doesn't feel at all clinical. Rooms are well furnished, spacious and comfortable. All have a fridge, TV, spacious wetroom, armchairs, fitted wardrobes, good lighting and telephone. The food is outstanding and very varied. Staff couldn't be more helpful. And the place has a friendly and cheerful air about it. There is a very pleasant garden and the hotel also possesses a beach hut which residents can use. The Grove Hotel is run by the Macmillan charity and holidays are subsidised.

Wonderfully welcoming. Staff don't let you carry anything as soon as you arrive.
