Good
Warm welcome but need to book ahead to alert staff that one of the party is a wheelchair user. Interesting menu, I had jackfruit spring roll with kimchi followed by a blood orange posset with seeded fruit slices. It was very very enjoyable.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Because we pre booked staff came straight out with a ramp as soon as my carer made herself known. Plenty of room to manouevre in the restaurant but could not get the wheelchair under the table but no big deal.
Parking & Transport
Poor
Restaurant is on the main street and parking is hit or miss. We were unlucky and did a circuit of the town before we found a space about 200m from the venue. The pavement is quite narrow and a challenge on a bank holiday with all the tourists. But don't let this deter you as the meal experience is worth the effort.
Accessible Toilets
Bad
No wheelchair accessible toilet but the staff said I could use one and the carer could keep the door of the other one opposite open to provide privacy. I have a leg bag and we just checked for the purpose of this review (too much information!)
Staff
Excellent
Drinks order taken as soon as we were settled at the table and the food order was taken after we had read the menu. No delay in service. Staff friendly.
Additional Information
The restaurant was let down by the parking and toilet but apart from that I went for a good meal and got it and really enjoyed the experience.
