Good
This is such a great spot for a spontaneous picnic. The shop is very small but the concept seems to be that you take-away and eat outdoors at the picnic tables or somewhere in the vast Helix Park. Despite the small size, this little cafe is pretty accessible!
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is a small lip into the cafe which has been dealt with by attaching a small ramp that ties in with the decking elsewhere. There is a dropped counter inside at the till as well. Outside there are various low picnic benches and then lots of spaces to picnic throughout the Helix park where this cafe can be found.
Parking & Transport
Good
Public transport isn't too great around this area of Falkirk, although I did see a bus stop in the car park. It did have a sign saying that buses don't depart from there however, do it does appear to just be a drop off point which might leave some people stranded...The car parking however is great. There are lots of accessible spaces nearby, although it can get quite busy in summer months. You can also access this cafe via the wide canal walkways!
Accessible Toilets
Good
There are toilets right outside this cafe and shop in an attached building. I didn't use them however, so cannot comment (but other accessible toilets within the park as a whole were great).
Staff
Excellent
The staff were fantastic! Two very friendly ladies who went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable.
Additional Information
This is a great place to pick up a quick bite to eat or a really tasty ice-cream before exploring the rest of the park.
