The Lowry Hotel

The Lowry Hotel is a five-star contemporary hotel on the banks of the River Irwell. Part of the prestigious Leading Hotels of The World, The Lowry Hotel has recently gone through a full refurbishment. Offering 165 bedrooms, six suites and the Charles Forte Presidential suite with floor-to-ceiling windows all of our bedrooms have plenty of space there’s a super-king-size bed or two singles dressed in a custom-made wool blanket with bathrooms in Italian porcelain. The Spa at The Lowry Hotel is a light-soaked contemporary space to enjoy treatments including massage, facials, and beauty care in any hour, day- or weekend-long packages, with treatments suitable for men, women and mothers-to-be. The River Restaurant is one of Manchester’s best restaurants to eat and drink in a glass-walled, riverside setting. The convivial atmosphere is also deeply luxurious with purple leather chairs, semi-circular banquettes, while Fornasetti plates, mirrors and lithographs and prints decorate walls. The River Bar has a more informal surroundings a quiet place to network, drink and kick-back with a perfectly mixed cocktail, club sandwich, salad, or more substantial dish from our menu.
