Overview
The Mill Coffee House is located in an industrial estate. On my visit I was lucky enough to get one of the accessible spaces near to the main entrance, as the car park can get very busy due to having businesses on site. The cafe is closed on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxed and is great to go for a catch-up with friends or family or if you fancy getting some work done. The food is of good quality and is fairly priced.
Transport & Parking
The Mill Coffee House shares its parking with Kings Church and on-site businesses. There are only a few accessible spaces on-site. There is a bus route that stops outside, which is a short walk/push to get to the main entrance.
Access
The cafe is level access with an automatic door. There is plenty of room to move around in a wheelchair, and the tables are high enough to get your legs under, so you don't feel like you're sat miles away and having to stretch to reach your food or drinks.
Toilets
There are two toilets that are wheelchair accessible with grab rails and red cords. There is also enough space for a carer if needed. In the second toilet there is a baby changer.
Staff
The staff are very welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble for them.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There are two meeting rooms within the Mill Coffee House. Yes I would visit again as I'm also able to take my laptop and work from there.
