The Moat House

This was our 11th visit to this fabulous house. We started going there in 2018 with my mum after she had a massive stroke and left her severely disabled. This house was perfect for getting my mum away for a holiday. The house itself is amazing and the equipment made everything so easy for us. There is absolutely nothing negative you can say about the house. The bedrooms are of a very good size with extremely comfortable beds, the lounge area has plenty of seating, and the kitchen is great for playing games as the table is massive, we also enjoyed sitting chatting about what we had done through the day. We enjoy this house so much we have been going for the last 9 years. Sadly my mum passed away a few years ago but we are still enjoying making wonderful memories here. Looking forward to returning here in the near future. I would highly recommend this accommodation

Beautiful accommodation within walking distance to local amenities, for example, Cinema, Soft Play, shops, bars and restaurants. Extensive enclosed garden suitable for adults, children and much loved pets. Access to lovely walks from rear of garden.

6 of us (3 generations) + 1 dog stayed at the Moat House for 3 nights. This included my father whose mobility is restricted and he uses a 3-wheeled walker to get around. The hard floors of the house suited his 'wheelie' well, he was glad of the rise-and-recline chairs in the lounge and adapted bathroom facilities and was able to explore the garden. The automatic sensor lights in the hallways were a blessing for night-time trips. Many thoughtful extras in this well-equipped and attractive house.
