Overview

The cafe is nice, good food, good value with strong links to Crisis, the homeless charity. Oxford has a lot of homelessness, despite being a wealthy city. The theatre and shop are accessible and the programme for the theatre is interesting. It is a nice, small theatre. I am amazed how much disabled access has improved over the years to this building.

Transport & Parking

The city centre is pretty easy mostly for wheelchairs, as it's flat. There are disabled parking bays nearby on New Inn Hall Street and Beamont Street. You can also park in residents' only bays if you have a blue badge.

Access

5

Good access in the cafe and theatre with the carer getting in free to the theatre. Platform lift to the shop and separately, one to the theatre. Cafe on the ground floor. An art display often at the foot of the platform lift to the shop.

Toilets

4.5

Upstairs, theatre loo is good. There's another downstairs but if you're a wheelchair user, you'll have trouble getting the connecting door open. Once inside, it's bigger and clean and there's a roll in shower.
