    The New Theatre is situated in the beautiful and historic City of Oxford on a site used for theatrical entertainment for almost 190 years. With a capacity of 1785, the theatre plays host to leading opera and ballet companies, contemporary dance, West End musicals and sell-out pop and rock concerts.

    Access is good but wheelchairs have to go at the back.

    You can see the shows but wheelchairs have to sit at the back. It is OK if your eyesight is OK but might be hard if not. They tend to put on big shows such as ballet, tribute bands, musicals. I saw Stomp there, some time ago, which was excellent. There is a platform lift down to the Stalls, which the staff will help you with. Wheelchairs have to go there. There is a powered door at the front. Carer gets in free.
