Overview

This country pub has flat access (just a 4 cm bump) and the staff and food are great.

Transport & Parking

The pub is very close to the railway station and has one disabled space next to the rear entrance.

Access

You can access the pub restaurant in a wheelchair through the pub door entrance and then wheel through the bar to the restaurant (restaurant entrance has steps) . There is quite a bump to traverse at the pub doorway but this is ok in either a power or manual wheelchair.

Toilets

Accessible loo with plenty of space but why store a chair in there ?!

Staff

Really friendly staff and if you ring ahead you can ensure you are assigned an easily accessible table with plenty of space for wheelchair and room for my long legs.

Yes I would recommend this pub/restaurant. The food is excellent with a varied menu. Staff have been delightful on each of my 4 visits.
