Fantastic, accessible restaurant

I had such a great night here! The food was amazing, great service and zero accessibility issues, I just wish I got better photos! The atmosphere was relaxed, the smells were amazing, the service was really good. I can’t eat much and have a feeding tube, there was nothing I’d be able to eat from the starters so I asked for a main meal of chicken and roast potatoes as a starter- very small, no veg or salad etc, they provided this at half the normal price. I really appreciated the chef doing this, the plate still looked amazing and I felt like I was able to ‘participate’ more in dinner with my friends.
Transport & Parking
This restaurant was a two minute walk from our hotel, there was on street parking and its just a few mins from the centre of York, maybe 15 mins walk from the train station.
The entry through the door is flat then theres a ramp up to the restaurant (see photo). There are a mix of normal tables are bar tables, in the area we sat in was normal tables, we sat near the window and my chair fit in perfectly. I was able to get to the bar and toilet easily without anyone needing to move
The toilet was a good size, clean and tidy. The hand wash and hand lotion had brail on to identify each one. There was room to turn and grab rails. The red cord hung to the floor at the left side of the toilet which is also the side one would transfer from. The bin was at that side but it was easy to move it out the way, it didn’t need to be that close to the toilet.
The staff were friendly and accommodating
