The Royal York Hotel is directly across from the York train station. There are several buses that stop across the street from the hotel. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the city centre.

The entrance closest to the parking lot has stairs and no ramp. Staff will usually come out to the parking lot or to the station to help customers into the hotel.

There is parking available for an additional price. Limited amount of spots designated for people with disablilities.
Accessible Toilets
Good
There are disabled rooms which are very well equipt. The bathroom is large and has grab rails, shower seats and a low bath. The toilets in the lobby of the hotel are easily accessible for people with disabilities.

Excellent
There are always plenty of staff around the hotel who are very friendly and helpful.
