Overview

I have taken a number of people with varying levels of complex needs over the years to the Refreshment Room and Andrew is always there ready with a smile and has developed excellent communication skills with everyone I take. He has supported individuals to even complete their own transactions behind the service counter enabling them to have complete independence and work on their learning outcomes

Transport & Parking

The bus stop is just outside of the entrance to the car park for the train station with a wide range of disabled spaces available in the car park as well. Regular buses and trains for the local area

Access

Full disabled access throughout - unfortunately there isn't anyone manning the ticket desk any more but there is clear opportunities for booking trains on the platform and help points on the station platform.

Toilets

Toilets are big enough to move around in, no changing place facility but was good enough for our needs

Staff

Andrew in the refreshment room is superb! Engaging with individuals on their level. Patient and gives each person the time to communicate at their own pace.
