Bay View Garden Centre

We called in on spec en route on holiday and liked it so much that we called in on way home too. There is a separate section of restaurant where you could sit with a dog. The chairs are hard plastic so I needed to take in my own cushion. The roof of this part (not main restaurant) is conservatory-type so in the sun it can get very hot. Food we had first time was so good we had it again - potted shrimps on sourdough toast with salad and home-made fruit tart and custard slice. Restaurant looks out over Morecambe Bay.

We enjoyed the visit and the highlight was the cafe as everyone could sit around the table together as the cafe was very spacious. overall the shop was spacious and we could navigate it easily. However due to bad weather we did not access where the plants were. The toilets could fit a wheelchair and were clean. parking was OK, lots of room and close to the center but we went on a quite day.
