    Really enjoyed hand feeding deer

My son uses a manual chair and in parts it was grassy and hilly so needed a push uphill. Lovely walk around the park, being close and hand feeding the deer was nice. Play parks have zero wheelchair accessible equipment which is a shame - actually none of the extra activities were accessible. Would be great to have a swing or something. Also just regular disabled toilets - could do with a changing places if you were spending the whole day. Currently a pay as you please which is great as we only manage an hour or two without hoisted changing etc. We will be going back though as nice open spaces and friendly staff.

Good time and would be back.

Arrived by car and got parked into a disabled bay but didn't see that many. Had to go through a shop to enter and exit which was a tight squeeze but once you're through it's all outdoors. Didn't notice any accessible toilets. I have an All Terrain Wheelchair which is meant for any ground so it might be a bit tougher on other wheelchairs. Luckily it was dry for us but would have had a miserable time if it was raining as the ground would be all sludgy and horrible to push through but what else would you expect. So try and only go if you've had a dry couple of days beforehand. Quite a walk around the park with plenty of animals but a lack of benches around. All in had a good time and would go back.

A great day out with animals to see, shops to browse and a lovely café!

Lovely place to visit with shops and café which are fully accessible. The country park is mostly accessible for wheelchair users but could do with more seating areas for people with walking aids. The shops are good for ladies and gents clothing, gifts and food and drink. The courtyard which gives access to the shops, café and ticket office has a slabbed path all around with a pebbled area in the middle. There are picnic benches in the pebbled area.
