Overall Rating
Excellent
I attended a Festival of Politics talk titled "Does transport work for disabled people in Scotland?" at the Scottish Parliament. This is a whirlwind review - I did not experience all of the accessible features available. I visited the Changing Places toilet, one of the accessible loos, the presentation and had a brief look at the foyer. What I did see looked well thought out.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
There was info in BSL and Gaelic prominent around the building. It is a beautiful building but not always obvious which way to head - which is why lots of friendly staff about to show you the way.
Accessible facilities: Lift to all areas, Step-free entrance, Accessible retail space, Seating at regular intervals, Wheelchair-accessible food and beverage outlet, Step-free access to most areas
Parking & Transport
Good
I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
I did not drive so cannot comment on accessible parking. The area does have some buses going by.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
The toilets - Changing Places and accesible- looked very clean and spacious. I have included photos.
Facilities: Accessible toilet, Changing Places toilet
