The Shore tram stop is located on Constitution Street in Leith, Edinburgh and, just like the other tram stops across the city, it is a great accessible transport option. For anyone looking to grab a quick coffee before their trip, it also has one of the most conveniently placed coffee shops I have ever seen, The Printworks Coffee Company.
Disabled Access In and Around
The single platform tram stop is located in the middle of the road, with ramped access on either side and traffic lights, along with tactile paving at the foot of each ramp. Seating is provided under the rain shelter, which is useful if you need a rest while waiting. Overhead dot matrix signage gives clear information on tram arrivals. Ticket machines are available on the platform, although I tend to find it easier to use the ET app to buy a ticket. The platform edges are have tactile paving and there are sections for level boarding, which is my favourite thing about the tram. There is also a help point with braille for anyone needing information or assistance in an emergency. A hearing loop is available too.
