Overview
Lots of different dining spaces internally and externally, with a child friendly dining/play area. Dog friendly areas. Wonderful accessible gift and farm shop. Lots of outside space for walking and plenty of parking too! I had brunch there but could have happily stayed all day!
Transport & Parking
The venue is off the A66 and is clearly signposted. I drove there and it has 3 accessible parking spaces as well as lots of car parking spaces.
Access
There is an automatic door leading into a foyer area. Then a push open door leading into the venue. There's a bench in the foyer if you needed to rest. No steps and aisles wide enough for wheelchairs. There is a lift that takes you into the gift shop.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet with plenty of room in it. It doubles as a baby change area. Very clean and tidy. Grab rails present. No changing spaces toilet . Easy to find but slightly cramped entrance as you have to negotiate a few card stands!!
Staff
The staff were very helpful, particularly the restaurant manager who explained the varying areas and where for example dogs were allowed and not allowed They all checked that the food was as expected and were attentive.
