Tiree Ranger Service

Tiree Ranger Service offers the use of two off-road adaptable wheelchairs for our guests free of charge. The Hippocampe is ideal for children and small adults, with low level seating. Option 1 = standard rear wheels for grass Option 2 = balloon tyres for the beach. The Nomad is a light weight beach chair, suitable for children and adults. Seating is similar to a standard wheelchair. Both units are available to book through the Tiree Ranger Service on a first-come-first-served basis. The Ranger office is located in The Island Centre, Crossapol. The units are stored at Tiree Rural Centre, Crossapol. Please note that these chairs are not motorised: Guests will require assistance during their use. Tiree Ranger Service strives to eliminate unfair discrimination and promote equality.
