Overview

The titanic hotel has an amazing accessible room. The bathroom is massive and has an open layout. The corridor leading to the accessible room is dimly lit though so might not be ideal for those with visual impairments. It’s worth phoning them to book as they have special offers on, when I booked it was 3 nights for the price of 2, including breakfast. The design of the hotel itself is immaculate and the titanic museum is right in front of the hotel. There was some kind of wedding/event on when we first got there which made checking in a bit chaotic and there was loud music into the night but the next two nights were more peaceful.

Transport & Parking

There is limited parking out front of the hotel without height restrictions. You have to display your blue badge and give your registration number to reception.

Access

Flat access to get into the hotel and lifts to the accessible room. The room itself has plenty of space to manoeuvre. The corridor to the accessible room was dimly lit and fairly narrow.

Toilets

The accessible bathroom in the hotel room itself was amazing. The toilet had grab rails and there’s a roll in shower.

Staff

Front of house staff were welcoming but the cleaning staff were quite rude to my carer when asked if they could move the cleaning trolley out of the corridor so my wheelchair could fit past.
